The Oliver S. and Jennie R. Donaldson Charitable Trust was established in 1969. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on cancer-related organizations and organizations of personal interest to the Trustees.
Eligibility Requirements
The Donaldson Charitable Trust requires that applicants have a Trustee of the Foundation sponsor each grant request. Of those requests, the Foundation will consider applications received from organizations that are exempt from taxation under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). If you are a 509(a)(3) Supporting Organization, please be prepared to provide additional information. Grants are not made to support individuals.
Grant Cycle and Deadline Information
The Foundation meets semi-annually to review grant applications. March 15 and September 15 are the deadlines for submitting grant proposals to be considered at the spring and fall meetings, respectively.
Restrictions
Please note a Trustee of the Foundation is required to sponsor any grant requests.
